Wexstar Infrared Heaters provide far-infrared heat that is designed to be gentle, not overwhelming. The Wexstar heaters does not use a noisy fan that disperses hot air or blows dust across the room, instead like the sun Wexstar’s far infrared heating technology provides pleasant and effective heat that offers many health benefits such as increasing blood circulation and raising the body's surface temperature in a natural, comfortable way without blowing dry air or humidity in to the room.

This will significantly vary depending on room insulation, outside temperature, central heating, additional windows and doors, ceiling height, etc.
If you have no central heating and regular to poor insulation, we would recommend calculating the sqft range by half.

Yes, Wexstar heaters can be used together to heat the area you desire.
Yes all Wexstar heaters plug in to a standard electrical outlet (110 / 120v).
Yes, although they plug in to a standard North American outlet, all Wexstar Heaters can be professionally hard-wired.
No, Wexstar heaters can be installed in less than 10 minutes by anyone. You simmply mount them and plug them in. If you want to hard-wire them then you would require an electrician.
Yes, a full wall mount kit and template are available with every Wexstar Heater purchase for the Frames and Frameless Wall series. The heater mounting kit provided is designed for a wall mounting installation.
For the Frameless Ceiling series, a flat ceiling mounting kit is included. Hang ceiling mounting kits for the frameless series and flat ceiling mounting kits for the frames series are available in our store as separate accessories.
All heaters will include a mounting kit. Leg stands may be bought separately or will be included if the SKU ends in -STAS Eg. WS-4WSTAS
Classic series legs for framed heaters:
​The distance to other objects from the point of installation we recomment to be 20 inches (50 cm) away from the front, 8 inches (20cm) to the sides and 8 inches (20 cm) upward and downward. This is the area that should be cleared for just safety precautions. Technically as long as nothing flmmable is in proximity and nothing is touching the panel itself there would not be a problem.
One can get as close as they want to the panel as long as they do not make direct contact with the heater while its on!
It is normal for the panel to be hot to the touch when on, the infrared technology is created by the heating of the panel. We recommend to never touch the panel when it is on.
Do note Wexstar's heating technology is completely safe. These panels have safety sensors that allow the panel to cool off if it somehow were to overheat. They are also fully tested and approved in the North American market (including certification for TUV, UL, CSA).
You can stand as close to the heater as you wish, as long as you do not make direct contact with the heating elements.

Wexstar Heaters are IP54 and have no problem being used in areas with moisture / steam, however we recommend to not expose it to direct water streams
